It’s Not My Fault
Have you ever found yourself saying,
“It’s Not My Fault!“
We all have.
Sometimes it is just so easy to blame someone else when things go wrong.
Something happened — It’s not my fault, it’s somebody elses.
But what if it really wasn’t?
Fault is a blame game
What if we shifted away from blame to taking responsibility?

It changes the picture a bit, doesn’t it?
Taking responsibility for your own actions can be a bit challenging.
It can put you in a position of being the scapgoat for others.
However, it also puts you in a position to learn and grow more than the others.
For the person who has learned, or is learning, to take responsiblity, when things go wrong they know there is something they can do to make things right again.
But the person who is stuck in blaming others, that person is left helpless at the mercy of the event.
Taking responsibility is not about taking on blame.
It is about taking on the power to make life better.
Just something to think about.
Please share a story of when you shifted from blame to taking responsibility in the comments below!

Derrall
Hey Derrall, love your post. Taking 100% responsibility for our lives is where success starts. And as you said, that’s when we take back our personal power to change for the better π
Thank you Key for your kind words.
Yes, success starts with taking 100% responsibility.
all the best,
So true. I would have to say that I started taking responsibility for my own actions when I was young and dumb. Now I am no longer young but some would question the latter. I remember quitting a job before I had another lined up and it set me back financially. That is just one of my “My Fault” moments. Thanks for the post. Millions could use this information these days.
Thank you Seth for your own personal example.
Yes, I can think of many not so good choices over the course of my life, and at the time, it was easy to blame others.
I am slowly learning!
all the best,
