Ever feel like you are all alone and that nobody cares about you or even what your challenge in life is?
In one way or another we all have.
You could be at a party or even out with friends but inside you are all alone.
In addition, ever notice how many movies there are in which that kind of scenario plays out.
One common theme in books and movies is the drama of the inner turmoil of the character who has their secret worries.
What is fascinating is that the feeling of being all alone, even when surrounded by friends and relatives, is a universal feeling.
So when these feelings do come up, first remember, you are not weird or strange for feeling this way.
Everyone in some way experiences feelings of being all alone.
Since we are social beings, we need someone that we can confide in.
For those times when we are not ready to confide in another person, we may need to find some other way — such as writing in a journal — to express our feelings in a positive way.
Finally, a simple affirmation that we can say to ourselves is,
I am so happy and grateful now that
I am a good person with good intentions.
I am a good friend.
